NYC is a busy, beautiful, messy, maze of streets woven around famous skyscrapers. The big apple never sleeps and Sindy’s a girl on the go with great hopes of this crazy city on her holiday break! Wrapped up against the cold northern air in a long coat, colourful scarf and cute hat, she sips a hot drink on the way to the theatre to see a musical, film or dance show (there’s something new every day). The city is alive with the wishes of millions of its people – anything is possible and the sky is the limit for Sindy’s dreams.
Bloomin’ Crazy
There’s a music festival in the park and Sindy can’t wait to sing along with her friends to the pop hits. As well as great bands, there are lots of new artists to discover and tons of clothes stalls to explore. Her vintage dress has the boldest of flower patterns and a floaty skirt –so perfect for a summer day out. Sindy balances the rose dress and petal-colour shoes with a rock-star jacket and sunglasses. She’ll be sure to finish her look with glitter face paint and a flower crown as soon as she gets to the festival!
Kite loop
On a windy day, there is nothing better than flying a kite. Sindy takes kite flying to an incredible new WOW level – kite surfing! With a thrilling blast of salty air, this girl rides the waves and jumps high above the water. To her friends on the shore, each lift looks like it could kiss the sky. After an action-packed afternoon, Sindy relaxes on the sun-drenched sand and gets ready for the evening beach party. Her surfer style is a funky pair of board shorts and a pretty tank top, and her hair … it’s windswept.
Step it up
Let’s go! Sindy is on a mission to complete a running race and nothing is going to get in her way. Training is tough, but it’s totally worth it for the energy rush, which makes her feel unstoppable. Power colours are at the centre of Sindy’s fitness-fashion style and she has a lucky star jacket and matching earphones specially picked for race day. Every girl knows that it’s easier to run a personal best when she looks her best and can hear her fave tunes! Sindy doesn’t mind getting hot when she runs because she knows that she’s super-cool on the track.
Beautiful Blush
Sindy is delighted to be invited to a wedding and she has chosen a lovely outfit for the special occasion. The fabric is as soft as a butterfly’s wing and the colour is as delicate as a twilight sky – it will totally fit with the romantic setting. Covered in silk, decorated with “diamonds” and glossy all over, Sindy’s dressed to look her best in every wedding photo. All that’s left to wonder about is the beautiful clothes her friends will also be wearing for the fabulous event.
Tokyo
The only rule about Harajuku style is: there are no rules! The streets around the Harajuku Station in Tokyo are the ultimate place for fashionable teens to experiment and let their imagination run free. Offbeat, alternative styles merge into one mixed-up hyper style and Sindy thinks it’s one of the most wonderful places on the planet. Where else can she layer lace, fur, dots, stripes, bows and stars in pink and purple? Her playful look changes every day, but it’s constantly awesome.
Candy Pop!
For her holiday job in a local candy shop, Sindy wears all the colours of the rainbow in the brightest, sweetest shades she can find. Her cute style is based on all the sweets she loves, from sweets and sprinkles to liquorice and lollypops. Sindy has fun turning fabrics with jumbo candy patterns into tasteful clothes, which never fail to delight her customers and make them smile. Her favourite go-to outfit is this delicious-looking dress with sherbet-colour shoes. Sindy’s shiny look is completed with a plastic-fantastic bag, bangle and hairclip.
Weekend
For a relaxing weekend filled with a sea breeze and sunshine, Sindy and her friends head to the harbour and marina for their day out together. The jetty is lined with lots of shops on one side and boats bound for nearby islands on the other. Sailing away into the sparkling sea, it’s time to chill-ax and dream about pretty beach huts and super yachts! After a day exploring one of the neighbouring islands, the harbour lights beckon them back to shore. For this trip Sindy’s weekend style includes aqua sunglasses, nautical stripes and pearl accessories. Plus a pair of funky wellies, in her fave coastal colour, of course.
Sindy sees fun and interest everywhere and likes to share the best moments in her life with her friends on Instagram.
